Sun Protection
Highest quality 100% Grass fed/ grass finished beef tallow, Jojoba oil, Carrot seed oil, organic beeswax, non- nano uncoated zinc oxide powder.
At Lily and Jame I use non-nano uncoated zinc oxide which does not soak into the bloodstream because it sits on the skin's surface. This makes it a good choice for people with sensitive skin.

Apply to hands, rub hands together a few times then apply wherever your skin is exposed to sun. Rub in well to avoid any white residue. Avoid the eye area. Reapply every few hours as needed if you are in water or sweating. I have personally found that this product last most of the day if I'm not in water.
Due to the beeswax and tallow this product is water-resistant. However, we recommend reapplying every few hours as needed. For my family, I follow the recommendation of getting up to 20 minutes of direct sun exposure before applying sunblock to receive beneficial vitamin D from the sun. Then I apply sunblock, avoiding direct sunlight during peak hours and wearing a sunhat for added protection, is always recommended.
You may use your own discretion on how much to apply. Give it a few minutes before going into water.
Store at room temperature or colder.

AVOID CONTACT WITH EYES as non-nano zinc oxide can sting if it gets into your eyes, If this occurs wash face with soap and water and rinse eyes with water.
This product will melt at high temperatures, ideally keep at room temperature. Product hardens in cold temperatures but will soften again when at room temperatures. Product is still just as beneficial in either scenario.
We try to keep the environment in mind. Our products are packaged in recyclable glass containers and or BPA free plastic roll ups. We then ship them in carboard boxes with recycled packing paper.

I have tried many sunscreens for my family. So any are full of chemicals or regular zinc oxide, which have been known to soak through the skin and into the bloodstream. The natural ones I've tried you have to reapply so often that the bottle is empty after a few uses. Some mineral sunscreens don't seem to rub in and I still burn.
